Exploring The North Off Marsalforn – Rebreather Sidemount Scooter Diving | Gozo

Exploring The North Off Marsalforn – Rebreather Sidemount Scooter Diving | Gozo

We decided to dive the north coast on Gozo this afternoon. The plan was to start at Xwejni Bay, near Marsalforn, then out with our Bonex and Aquaprop dive scooter to triple arch to explore the drop off to easterly direction. We both used trimix – as usual when diving to 50 meter depth – Peter on sidemount and me using the KISS Rebreather. I also used my dry suit because such depths do not leaf a lot insulation of your neoprene suit (ask Peter đŸ˜‰ )

The wall is quite impressive there with some boulders at the sandy bottom and some areas looking similar to a tower.

During decompression we watched some barracudas and groupers before we surfaced safely after 80 minutes. Peter did another hour scooter diving with Ayelen out to double arch.
