Scuba Diving Basics for Boat Owners and Crew

You need a hull cleaning, open a blocked inlet? Even worse your propeller get tied or your anchor trapped? Such things will happen and can cause a real problem if you don’t know how to get underwater quickly and safely.
When you consider the time and effort put into learning top side skills, it makes sense to give up some hours of your life to learn safe scuba skills to get underwater so that you can be truly independent at sea. Better yet, you are not depended to someone else doing in-water maintenance.

If you like to do more scuba diving, you can upgrade in 2 more days and get your worldwide valid Open Water certification.

 

Purpose

This course will enable you as a boat owner to safely use a small diving set to inspect or clean your boat or to retrieve an anchor up to a depth of ten meters while using basic scuba gear.

This scuba diving for boat owners course also enable you to get fills for your tank at a dive shop by showing your certificate.

 

Prerequisites

  • 18 years old
  • medical check

 

Duration

  • 2 days with a minimum of:
  • 4 hours of lecture
  • 3 Dives

 

Limits

  • 5 liters of tank volume
  • 10 meters depth
  • 20 minutes divetime
  • no 2excurcions – diver has to stay on up-/ downline

      Ja, aber es ist keinem etwas passiert. Die Küstenwache war gleich da. Leider zieht sich die Reparatur noch hin.
